The IETT municipal bus services are extensive, but to the visitor unfamiliar with Istanbul, they are extremely difficult to navigate. For this reason, we recommend international visitors new to the city use a taxi.

By Taxi

Istanbul's bright yellow licensed taxis are numerous and there`s never a problem finding one, day or night. You can even hail them from the roadside.

There is no city-wide dispatching system. Hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs and so on will call the nearest taxi stand, although taxis usually wait in front of such venues.

From the city center to the Tüyap fairgrounds, it should take no more than 35 - 45 minutes, and should cost approximately the equivalent of between $25 - $30.
